The Canon

The Sky Khan Doctrines

Eight factions. Seven eras. One civilization that learned to weaponize the harmonic frequencies holding reality together — and the cosmic war that followed.

The Eight Factions

Each civilization carries its own proprietary physics

No motif belongs to all factions. Halo-rings are Ronin. Vertebral conduits are Kabal. Solar masks are Choir. Each faction's iconic visual vocabulary stays its own.

Ronin Monks

Guardians of resonance, discipline, and the First Sound. Solo wanderers between worlds. Every blade follows the hand; every hand follows the signal.

The Kabal

Masters of manipulation, secrecy, and control. They seek power without sacrifice — and become servants of the very forces they try to command.

Eyes of Trust

Witnesses Eternal. Believe carefully. Verify relentlessly. Truth is their only loyalty — which is why every faction has been embarrassed by one of their archivists.

Ember Guard

Wardens of the Final Flame. Born from the Burning of Seven Thousand Archives. Librarians carrying swords. To them, memory is defense.

Choir of Echoed Suns

Architects of the Next Horizon. Pursuers of transcendence. They mastered conscious starlight and living mathematics — and accept that transcendence carries risk.

Sky Khan Ascendants

Highest initiates aligned with cosmic harmony. The throne is not the destination. The endless staircase is.

Veiled Hand of the Outer Tribunal

Judges beyond ordinary civilization. They appear only when reality itself is on trial. Their verdicts redraw the map of the possible.

Tachyon Forge Consortium

Industrial liturgists of the canon. Hammer-rhythm. Coolant-tower vertical. Where the Frequency Wars' weapons and relics are remade — and rebuilt.

A note on Vael

Vael is not a faction. Vael is a singular primordial being — the Keeper of the First Quiet — whose philosophy and allegiance influence events across multiple factions. Some Kabal sects revere Vael's silence-doctrine and act in his name without his consent. Some Ronin Monks privately respect him. The Eyes of Trust file him under "force, ancient and unaligned." Vael sits outside the eight, the way gravity sits outside the buildings it pulls on. Read the transmission →

The Seven Eras

A timeline carried in atmosphere, not exposition

Golden Harmonic Era

Clean sacred geometry, ceremonial optimism, no damage.

Frequency Wars

Fractured sky-architecture, weaponized tuning-forks, urgent ritual violence.

Ashfall Interregnum

Ash-buried relics, ancestral melancholy, weathered survival.

Choir Eclipse Period

Tuning-spire mid-eclipse, luminous grief, choral hum.

Pale Emperor Winter

Frosted vaults, glacial silence, bone palisades.

Resonance Collapse

Shattered tuning-spires, elegiac mourning, broken harmonic glass.

Reawakening Age

Old systems reigniting, prophetic stillness before resurgence.
